Consistent with industry standards ProducePak offers you a packhouse software with simple approach to recording the quality of your produce, necessary for HACCP. It provides increased accountability by enabling you to track quality back to individual packers if need be.

The quality assurance records are held in the system and are a useful tool when it comes to the marketing of your product or alternatively, when the quality of your produce is in question by the customer.

The Quality Assurance and checking module allows you to create your own quality standards, and even enter your main customers quality standards so you can easily check produce to individual customers standards and optionally provide customers with a quality check statement that uses their standards.

The Quality Assurance module allows your pack-house to randomly select unprocessed or packed produce and perform quality tests on it. The results are used to produce a Quality Assurance report which can be matched with your customers quality requirements or used to determine picker, and packing performance.

Used correctly, the QA module is highly accurate; existing ProducePak QA users have reported receiving QA tests from chain stores which matched the QA results from ProducePak to the decimal place.

Record Pre Pack QA
Where bin numbers have been recorded during the stock arrival process, Pre Pack QA can be performed on Bins. This allows the measurement of produce quality before it is sorted, and used in conjunction with picker numbers can be used to identify pickers whom are performing poorly and help growers improve the produce quality which is delivered to the packing facility.

Post Pack QA Tests
Once goods have been packed, the cartons/containers can be randomly selected for Post Pack QA Tests. The results of the tests can be used to gage packer performance, and determine the ultimate market for the processed goods.

Last Minute QA Alerts
QA test results are used by the Consignment module to highlight any pallets which are outside your accepted range for QA tests, this stops accidental sale of sub standard produce to premium customers.

Creating QA Standards
The QA module allows you to define QA standards such as Woolworths, or Coles; or even make up your own standards. You can create an unlimited number of QA standards which can optionally be specific to a combination of Produce Type, Colour, and Size.

Mobile Stock Control
The Mobile Stock Control module allows staff to perform these functions using a PDA (very small mobile computer) anywhere in the packing shed or outside in dispatch areas. See Mobile Stock Control for more information.
