The ProducePak alerts module allows you to send alerts when important events in your business occur. For example, if an important inventory item needs to be re-ordered, ProducePak can send a message to the relevant staff member or even your supplier.
Other alerts include Quality Assurance, Inventory Discrepancy, Inputs Discrepancy, Pallet Rejection and more.
The ProducePak Alerts Module lets you setup alerts which will be triggered when certain conditions in your business exist. Alerts are used to ensure staff are made aware of important incidents in the business such as a pallet rejection or breach of quality standards.

Improve Response Time
When an incident occurs in your business, ProducePak can alert the relevant staff who can then take immediate corrective steps to rectify the problem. For example, an alert may fix a QA problem before too many out of specification cartons are packed. An alert may instigate the re-supply of packaging materials ensuring the smooth operation of the packing shed.
Alert Types
The following ProducePak Alerts are available:
• QA Alert: an alert is sent when QA standards are breached, the alert details the produce, Lot number, deviation percentage, and date.
• Delivery Dockets: Send customer (or anyone else) a copy of Delivery Docket or Invoice when generated. The docket is sent as an attachment if emailed.
• Transport Dockets: Send Transport provider (or anyone else) a copy of a Transport Docket when generated. The docket is sent as an attachment if emailed.
• Reject Pallets: Send alert to anyone when a pallet/s are rejected, includes details of Customer, Pallet Number, Produce etc.
• Re-Order Products: this is an inventory alert which details the Product Name, quantity on hand, re-order quantity, time and date – for a product that requires replenishing such as Cartons etc.
• Test Input: Alerts a selected user of any discrepancies detected in the Block Crop Input system where users have not balanced inventory usage
• Test Usage: Alerts a selected user of any discrepancies detected in the usage of inventory where users have not correctly balanced their inventory usage
Messaging System
The alerts module also includes a messaging system where users can generate their own messages and send to other users, the system contains an Inbox, OutBox, and allows the sending of SMS, Fax, LAN, and Email messages to users (send to one or more user at a time) in the organisation.
You can use the Messaging System to view previously sent messages, and messages sent by the Alerts system.
Using screen permissions, it is possible to give access to the Messaging System without allowing selected users to send their own messages. This style of messaging can be used as a makeshift “notice board”. The Messaging System available to PC users (no PDA interface is available as yet).
LAN & Email messages are free, Faxes cost around 25 cents (national faxes), you do not need a modem or fax machine to use the faxing service. There is a fee for the use of SMS messages sent through the ProducePak system.
